How do you create assessments that inform and enhance student learning and performance? In this workshop, we explore strategies of “educative assessments” to improve students’ learning and ways to enhance their performance with high quality feedback.  This is the second workshop in a three-part course design series.  Participants are welcome to attend any or all of them. 

Learning Outcomes

• Recognize the components of Educative Assessment
• Construct a forward-looking assessment that aligns with a learning outcome
• Examine how to construct criteria & standards
• Identify ways to provide feedback, including self-assessment for students
